- Open the 'main menu' on your iPhone, and tap the 'Settings' button as shown below.
NOTE: The Settings button may be in a different spot if you have re-arranged the Home screen icons.

- Locate the 'Wi-Fi' line, and and tap where it says 'Not Connected'.

- The iPhone will only find the PAL2.0-Instructions wireless network. To connect to the PAL2.0, network, tap where it says 'Other...'.

- In the 'Name Field', enter 'PAL2.0' (no space or quotes) and then tap on the 'Security' line.
- Tap the line that reads 'WPA Enterprise' to select it from the 'Security' menu.
- Enter your Purdue career account username and password in the boxes on the next page, and then tap the 'Join' button at the bottom of the screen.
- While joining the PAL2.0 network for the first time, a 'Certificate' window will pop-up asking if you would like to accept the 'AddTrust External CA Root' certificate. Tap the 'Accept' button. This process could take up to a few minutes depending on the signal strength you currently have.

- The PAL2.0 network should now show up and be available for joining. The configuration will be persistent but since the SSID for PAL2.0 is not broadcast, you will need to manually join the network when you want to use it. The check mark indicates you are now connected to PAL2.0, as shown below.

NOTE: Before attempting to connect your computer with the below instructions you can use Purdue XpressConnect software to set it up for you (instructions can be found here). The XpressConnect will attempt to configure all your settings for you, if you have already tried the XpressConnect and it is not working, then follow the steps below to set up PAL2.0 manually.
NOTE: Screens on the iPad may look different, but the instructions and settings are the same.
Troubleshooting
Only iPhones with the 2.0 firmware or above are able to connect to the PAL2.0 network.
