The wireless network at Purdue covers most of campus and provides Internet access to students, faculty, staff, and visitors. There are several wireless network names (SSIDs) available for use, including the free AT&T wireless network for guests (for more help on this, see the Guests section below). PAL3.0 is intended for students, faculty, and staff. It uses career account information for authentication and is widely available across campus.
Get Connected
Because both networks are broadcast, they should show up in the list of available wireless networks on your device. Simply click or tap on one of them and enter your career account credentials to connect. 'XpressConnect' is also available to help you connect your device to the network if you experience difficulty using the previously mentioned method.
NOTE: If you are currently connected to a Purdue wireless network and are having issues connecting to a different wireless network at Purdue, please see this article Why can't I switch wireless networks when I'm already connected?.

NOTE: If you reset your career account password and have a mobile device with which you connect to PAL3.0, make sure you update your password on that mobile device after the reset. This will help ensure you are able to connect to the wireless network. As many mobile devices respond differently, after your password reset, you may be prompted to put in a new password or may receive a message stating that the device was unable to connect to PAL3.0. Please see the help included in this article if you need more assistance connecting your device to the wireless network.
